CardGauge

A full trading-card market intelligence platform, built from scratch.

CardGauge started as a question — could a single person build a credible, end-to-end product for trading card collectors? The answer turned out to be yes, and the result is in production: an AI-powered card scanner that identifies cards from a phone photo, real sold-price comps from completed sales, a transparent grading decision tool, a hot/cold market tracker, a Pokémon-specific section, and a Cards-vs-Wall-Street feature that compares card returns to real stocks.

The app runs at app.cardgauge.com on Render with a Supabase database and accounts, backed by a custom Node/Express API wired to OpenAI Vision, eBay, sold-sales data and Stripe payments. The marketing site sits on Wix. Every feature is real and working — no fake data, no placeholder dashboards, no "coming soon" pages disguised as products.

This is the proof that we can build complex, multi-feature, real-data products solo and keep them running. If we can do that, your small-business site is straightforward.

WorthGauge

A cloud-based collection tracker with user accounts, photo storage, and built-in payments — designed and built end to end.

WorthGauge is a full web application for collectors who want to know what their collection is worth and prove it for insurance. Users create an account, log items across categories — cards, watches, sneakers, coins, art, and more — track values over time, upload photos, and generate an insurance-ready statement, complete with a formal cover sheet and per-item proof-of-ownership records.

Unlike a static website, this is a real software product: secure passwordless login, cloud-synced private user data, private photo uploads, transactional email through a custom-verified domain, and a working paywall that takes real payments. It runs on a Supabase backend with row-level security, is deployed on its own custom domain, and was designed, built, and shipped solo — from the database schema to the engraved visual identity.

This is the upper end of what we can build: not a brochure site, but a functioning, account-based, payment-enabled product. If your business ever needs more than a website — a tool, a portal, something that actually does something — this is the proof we can build it.

Social Starter

An interactive tool that builds any small business a real social media plan in under a minute.

Most small-business owners know they "should be on social media" but have no idea where to start, what to post, or how often. Social Starter fixes that: the owner answers four quick visual questions — business type, main goal, target audience, and how much time they actually have — and the tool builds a tailored starting plan in real time. Which platforms to focus on, how often to post, four content pillars to rotate, and a concrete first week.

The logic adapts to each answer — a 55+ local service business gets pointed at Facebook and their Google profile, not TikTok — and every recommendation explains the reasoning, so it teaches as it goes. Built as a single self-contained page with animated reveals, it's the kind of interactive lead-capture tool we build directly into client sites.

This is what separates a Switchback site from a template: not just pages, but tools that do something for the business and its visitors.

AIToolGauge

A plain-English guide that teaches people what AI actually is, then points them to the right tool for the job.

There are thousands of AI tools and most "best AI tools" lists are just affiliate ads. AIToolGauge takes the opposite approach. It first explains, in plain language, what AI actually is — that it's a prediction machine, not a brain; how prompts work; why it sometimes makes things up; and what it's genuinely good and bad at. Then the visitor answers three quick questions and gets an honest recommendation for the tool that fits what they're trying to do, with a two-minute first step and a candid note on each tool's weaknesses.

The whole thing is built to earn trust rather than clicks — recommendations, not advertisements. It's a single self-contained page with an animated quiz, a printable result, and a clear handoff for businesses that want AI actually set up inside their operation.

Like our other in-house tools, it's proof of the Switchback difference: we don't just build pages, we build things that teach and help the people who land on them.

Client EcoWash Professionals, LLC

EcoWash Professionals

A clean one-page site for a local window-cleaning business — built to bring in calls.

EcoWash is a local window-cleaning company serving Stuart, Jensen Beach, and Martin County. They had no website — just a Google listing and an Instagram. The job: build a single focused page that captures the trust they've already earned (12 five-star Google reviews) and converts visitors into calls.

The design leads with their 5.0 rating and real review quotes, makes the phone and text CTAs unmissable on mobile, and keeps service-area clarity front and center. Coastal, clean, professional — matched to how the business actually presents itself.

Built fast: from first conversation to delivered site in days. Hosted on Render as a static site, pointed at the business's own domain. EcoWash owns the asset outright — no monthly subscription, no platform lock-in.

Client Bikes Plus · Jensen Beach, FL

Bikes Plus

A full multi-page shop for a Treasure Coast bicycle and e-bike retailer with mobile repair.

Bikes Plus is a Jensen Beach bike shop selling new and used bicycles, electric bikes, parts, and accessories — plus full repair services, including a mobile repair unit that comes to the customer. The site needed to do everything: showcase brands, sell online, take service inquiries, list rentals and local rides, manage gift cards.

The build is a ten-plus-page site with online ordering, brand showcase, services breakdown, FAQs, gift-card flow, and a contact system — built to feel like a local shop, not a chain. Mobile-first, because most riders search on their phones. Visual emphasis on the actual bikes, real shop photos, and the human service side of the business.

Years later, the site is still live and still doing the work — bringing customers into the shop at Jensen Beach Plaza.

Client Gigi's Italian Restaurant · Jensen Beach, FL

Gigi's Italian Restaurant

A heritage-forward multi-page site for a 50-year family-owned Italian restaurant.

Gigi's is a Neapolitan-Italian restaurant and pizzeria established in 1973, now run by the third generation of the La Hara family in Jensen Beach, Florida. The brief: build a site that honors the family's heritage (Naples → Montreal → Florida), showcases the food, and connects to all the delivery platforms they work with.

The result is a clean multi-page site — Home, Menu, Contact — with the family's story up top, full menu access, and order integration with DoorDash, GrubHub, Slice, and Fox. The visual feel matches the restaurant itself: warm, traditional, unhurried, not trying to be something it isn't.

"Dalla Nostra Famiglia Alla Tua" — from our family to yours — is the restaurant's motto. The site reflects it.

EbikeBuy

A four-page affiliate storefront connecting e-bike shoppers to five brands and a local assembly service.

EbikeBuy is a focused affiliate storefront for electric bikes — no inventory, no shipping, no warehouse. It curates five brand partners (EUNORAU, Kingbull, Puckipuppy, Wallke, Macfox) across separate affiliate networks into one clean shopping experience, then closes the loop with a real local service: assembly and delivery through Bikes Plus in Jensen Beach.

The site also carries a Florida e-bike law page, kept current and accurate — the kind of small trust-building detail that separates a real resource from a thrown-together affiliate page.

This is the affiliate-commerce pattern we build when a client wants to monetize an audience or niche without carrying stock: curated products, clear comparisons, and a path to a real dollar amount that doesn't depend on holding inventory.

AI Safe Protocol

A small-business AI-safety product — physical and digital — built and launched from a standing start.

AI Safe Protocol is a real product, not just a site: a small-business AI safety kit sold through Gumroad, with tiered offerings from a $29 poster set up to a $499 Control Pack and a $149 annual renewal. Built for an audience that has no easy way to know what "safe AI use" actually looks like day to day.

Beyond the storefront, this build included real go-to-market work — identifying and reaching out to concrete outreach targets like local cybersecurity firms and the Florida SBDC at IRSC, rather than just publishing a page and hoping for traffic.

If you have a product idea and no path from "idea" to "something people can actually buy today," this is the kind of build we do — site, product tiers, and the first real outreach targets, together.

CardGauge Scanner

A stripped-down, no-signup landing tool built to turn a single tap into an instant card price.

Not every product needs to be big — sometimes the win is a tool that does one thing perfectly. The standalone CardGauge Scanner is a single-purpose funnel: someone taps a link, photographs a card or types its name, and gets a real eBay market price in seconds. No account, no menu, no friction.

It runs on the same live Node/Express backend as the full CardGauge platform, but the front-end is deliberately lean — one screen, one job, sub-two-second results, hosted on its own fast subdomain via GitHub and Render. It exists to convert cold traffic into users, then hand them off to the full product.

This is the kind of focused, conversion-first micro-tool we can build for any business that needs a single high-converting page instead of a sprawling site.
